Loop Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Loop is a private app for two people to share video links with each other. We collect only the information needed to make that shared loop work.

Information Loop collects

Loop may collect and store:

How Loop uses information

Loop uses this information to sync your shared loop between devices, show video previews, send notifications, preserve read/watch state, and let you manage or delete a loop.

Who can see loop content

Anyone with a loop's pair code can join that loop. Treat pair codes like private invite links. Loop does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Where information is stored

Loop stores shared loop content in Firebase Firestore. Push subscription data is stored by Loop's Cloudflare Worker so notifications can be sent to subscribed devices. Video preview data may be requested from the video provider or Loop's metadata service.

Deleting your data

Inside Loop, Settings includes "Delete this loop everywhere." That action deletes the shared cloud data for the active loop, including videos, comments, reactions, watched/read state, and other loop content for both people. "Sign out" only removes the loop from the current device and does not delete cloud data.

Children

Loop is not intended for children or teenagers under 18. Loop's child safety standards are available at Loop Child Safety Standards.

Changes

We may update this policy if Loop's features or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page.
